How much do you charge?

Our standard rate is $150 per hour with a one-hour minimum, then billed in 15-minute increments after the first hour. Materials and parts are billed separately. Members save with discounted labor on bigger jobs.

How and when do I pay?

Payment is due on receipt when the work is complete. We accept common payment methods; card payments add a 3% processing fee, and NY sales tax (8.375%) applies where required.

Do you give estimates?

Yes, for anything beyond a quick visit, request a quote and we'll price it up. For straightforward jobs, the hourly rate and one-hour minimum tell you most of what you need.

How fast can you come out?

We offer same-day availability when the schedule allows, and we always give you a real arrival window. Booking online or calling gets you the soonest slot.

We're available Monday through Friday, 9am–5pm.

What if I need to cancel?

Just give us at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a $25 fee.

Do you clean up afterward?

Always. We put down drop cloths, clean up dust and debris, and haul out what we removed. You shouldn't have to clean up after the person you hired.

What kind of jobs do you handle?

Repairs, installs, and maintenance: TV mounting, furniture assembly, drywall repair, lighting and fixtures, doors and locks, shelving, small plumbing fixes, and the general punch list. If you're not sure, just ask.

Do you do bigger renovations too?

Yes. We're licensed and insured, and we take on full renovations as well as repairs: kitchens, bathrooms, and basements start to finish, plus carpentry, drywall, painting, trim and molding, doors, flooring, tile, and decks. The only work we don't do is additions and new construction. Anything short of building onto the house, tell us what you're planning.

What's a maintenance plan?

A monthly membership that includes handyman labor each month, member discounts on bigger jobs, priority scheduling, and an annual home-safety inspection. Standard Care is $150/month and Ultimate Care is $275/month.

Is priority service the same as same-day?

Accepted Answer

No. Membership gives you priority scheduling. You go to the front of the line, but it isn't an instant or guaranteed same-day service.
